"Duplicity" was recorded alongside several tracks that are to be included on Bantam Foxes' September full-length record Triumph. "Duplicity" offers an excellent preview of the recording quality to be expected; however, the song did not make the record for style, subject, and continuity purposes. Despite its rare appearances in live settings, the band can always lean on this song in a pinch if they need to extend a set. The track was recorded in less than three takes and seems never to fade from muscle memory.
